Exclusively for one couple, the 1860s restored German settler's cottage is self-contained and winner of multiple National & South Australia Tourism Awards. Heritage features merge with modern luxuries located in our private Barossa Valley vineyard, the cottage is the only accommodation on the property, guaranteeing privacy from other guests. Complimentary experiences included in your package are a transfer to Hentley Farm, Fino or Appellation restaurants, a heritage tour for two of Seppeltsfield Estate Winery and a 10% discount shopping voucher at the Jam Factory@Seppeltsfield retail shop. Various premium wine and dining experiences are included in the tariff depending on your length of stay. A four to six night night stay includes a Taste for Two of Seppeltsfield Estate 100 year old Tawny (value $120) and a seven or more night stay includes a $150 Dining Voucher for Fino, Hentley Farm or Appellation restaurants.

60 minutes from the Adelaide CBD and Airport via a dual lane highway, we are walking distance from Hentley Farm, Fino and the iconic Seppeltsfield Winery and Jam Factory Art Studios and retail space. In winter enjoy the open fire, underfloor heating, heated towels and the deep rainwater bath with views to the vineyard. In summer enjoy the coolness that thick, solid walls and lush green gardens & lawns offer. Individually controlled reverse cycle air conditioning heats and cools all rooms in the cottage. Enjoy breakfast prepared inside at your custom made kitchenette (no oven or hotplates) or dine alfresco outside using the custom made jarrah and baltic outdoor kitchenette and Weber BBQ with gas hob, Wusthof knives and Scanpan saucepans or enjoy brunch at nearby El Estanco cafe in Greenock or Red Door Espresso in Tanunda.

Cottage features include Bose sound systems, large carpeted master bedroom with king bed and crisp, white, sun dried linen. Huge modern ensuite bathroom with double shower, heated towels, Vasse Virgin & Molton Brown toiletries and, granite topped vanity unit. The lounge offers a Jetmaster open wood fire, 32" LED LCD TV, Bose sound system and portable Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker. A range of DVDs, CDs, books and games, and quality magazines are provided for your enjoyment. *Complimentary provisions Maggie Beer paté & fruit paste, SA beer & Barossa cider, biscuits, Nespresso Creatista coffee machine.

We respect our guests privacy and as such do not routinely service inside the cottage for stays of 3 days or less unless requested. Fresh towels supplied as requested.

Please be aware we are a working vineyard and whilst all efforts are made to ensure guests are not disturbed, there are occasions where vineyard work may need to be done whilst guests are in residence. Where at all possible we work around the comfort and privacy of guests.

Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage - 2 night package

This is a "flavours of the Barossa" all inclusive experience from the moment you arrive. Your unique, private, vineyard cottage offers what the Barossa & South Australia does best - food, wine, heritage & hospitality. Enjoy a range of delicious, complimentary gourmet products sourced from local Barossa artisan producers and nearby Maggie Beer's Farmshop, as well as generous locally sourced continental and cooked breakfast provisions. Espresso coffee, complimentary Wi-Fi, open fire in winter (May - September), one complimentary transfer to Barossa restaurants Hentley Farm, Fino or Appellation (prior notice required), king bed with sun dried white linens and luxury ensuite bathroom, underfloor heating and Molton Brown & Vasse Virgin personal products all make your accommodation package truly unique. Weather permitting, you can walk through vineyard to lunch at nearby Fino or Hentley Farm restaurants. Each stay also includes a 10% discount voucher for use at the Jam Factory@Seppeltsfield retail shop.

Check In Instructions

Check-in is from 3.00pm or as arranged. We like to be able to offer flexible check-in and check-out if possible. On arrival, please park in the designated cottage car park and we will greet you (we live on the property). If your indicated arrival time changes we would appreciate a text or phone call.

This is a self-contained, self-catering property.

Cancellation and Damage Policy As a very small boutique accommodation business, cancellations often result in an empty cottage due to booking lead times. Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the arrival date will incur a $100 cancellation fee. This fee however may be used towards rebooking at a future date. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the full amount. We recognise that accidents can occur, but any wilful or reckless loss and damages will be debited to the guests account.

We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to cover for unexpected situations requiring cancellation of bookings.

Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage is a non-smoking area. Guests are welcome to smoke outdoors. If we determine evidence of smoking in the cottage, we reserve the right to apply a minimum cleaning fee of $200 which will be charged to the guest's account.

Children and Extra Guests Details

One child up to the age of 12 months at the time of stay or at the Owner's discretion may be accommodated in a portable cot located in the parents room. Cost $90/stay. The cottage is furnished to cater for one adult couple and is not suitable for toddlers or older children.

Car Parking Details

There is parking adjacent to cottage which is not undercover. On request, we can offer undercover parking behind the cottage (also adjacent to the cottage).

Travel Directions

If travelling from Adelaide Airport

Exit the airport and turn right onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive. Proceed to South Road and turn left onto South Road. Currently (2018) there are some major roadworks for a few kilometres along some sections of this road. You will continue onto the North-South Expressway which will lead you onto the Salisbury Highway. Travel a few kilometres and watch for the A1 Exit on your left (Port Wakefield Rd). Travel for approximately 12 kilometres on the A1 and take the M2 exit on your left to Gawler/Renmark.

*** You are now on the Northern Expressway (M2). Do not take any exits and continue for about 22kms. The M2 will merge into the A20 (Sturt Highway). Continue for a further 23 kms on the A20 and take the Greenock/Seppeltsfield on your left. Drive through the cutting and at the T junction turn right to Seppeltsfield. After about 3 kilometres of lovely undulating views you will see on the right the sign to Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage and Hentley Farm. This is Gerald Roberts Road. Proceed slowly for 200metres to 27 Gerald Roberts Road. We are the first gate on your left. Proceed down the drive and park in the cottage drive signed "Guest Parking". We will come over to greet you if we have seen you arrive, or please walk over to our residence nearby.

Directions from the Adelaide CBD

If approaching the Barossa Valley from the Adelaide CBD, follow Main North Road (A20) out of the city. The following directions commence at Gepps Cross, a major 5 way intersection north of the CBD.

At Gepps Cross proceed straight ahead on National Highway 1 (A1). Travel for approximately 15 kms toward Port Wakefield. Watch for the exit signs on the left to the Northern Expressway (M2). Turn onto the M2 to Gawler/Renmark. Proceed from *** in Airport directions above.
