Serviced apartment accomodation perfectly located in the CBD near Brisbane city centre (two city blocks), near Chinatown (300 meters), near the Brisbane River (one city block) and also near Central Rail Station (300 meters). The property has 22 levels of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom serviced apartments. Fully furnished and equipped, each apartment has its own complete kitchen with a dishwasher, plus a laundry with a washing machine and dryer, along with WiFi throughout the entire building. Fully furnished self-contained apartments for rent on a daily, weekly or monthly basis with all the comforts of home, including Foxtel cable TV. We offer a long-stay rate for bookings over 28 nights and even a special 3+ month rate - great hotel type accommodation deals for people who may be moving to Brisbane. All apartments have at least one large balcony and sweeping views of the city centre, or Spring Hill, Chinatown and some views of the Brisbane River.

To the East, just a short 300mtr walk, are the Story Bridge and Brisbane River. Republic Apartments is within an easy walk to four of Brisbane's main weekend markets in the CBD at Eagle Street Riverside Craft Market (Sunday), Fortitude Valley Market (Saturday & Sunday), Southbank Lifestyle Market (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday) and the Queen Street Farmers' Market (Wednesday). To the north is Chinatown and dozens of restaurants from Chinese, Malaysian, Thai, Korean, Lao, Vietnamese and Japanese, to name a few, plus even a choice of North Indian restaurants along Brunswick Street. Nearby Fortitude Valley is Brisbane's night life and entertainment centre. James Street offers chic boutique shopping. A few minutes walk to the south of Republic Apartments, is the city's shopping precinct including the Queen Street Mall and Central Rail Station. The area is ideal for walkers and joggers. An easy 2km jog across the Story Bridge and back, or 3kms return to the Botanic Gardens, along the Riverside Boardwalk.

Travel Directions

CAR Drive down Turbot Street, which is a one-way street, in the right-hand lane. Cross Wharf Street then turn right into Raff Street and turn sharp left into the first driveway. You will be turning into Republic Apartments' Visitor Parking area. If no visitor bay is available then the Loading Bay should be free in the same area, to park temporarily while you check-in. Please note that you will need to enter via the main entrance in Turbot Street.

TRAIN From Brisbane's Central Station walk the 300 metres down Turbot Street toward Chinatown, in the same direction as all the (one-way) traffic.

BRISBANE AIRPORT A 14kms (approx. $40) taxi ride will take no more than 25 minutes, even allowing for some traffic.

TAXI There is a Loading Bay outside the main entrance in Turbot Street.
