Red Bull Air Race Accommodation

Red Bull Air Race AccommodationThe Red Bull Air Race is held in several different countries around the world throughout each year, as at 2008 fourteen different countries have hosted at least one race. Each race is part of a larger competition known as the Red Bull Air Race World Championship where some of the best pilots in the world compete to gain points in the hope of earning the title for the year. Most of the races are held over a weekend with qualifying on the first day and finals on the second.

The race is an exciting, adrenaline pumping combination of motor racing and aerobatics that began in 2003 with two races, one in Austria and one in Hungary. Quickly evolving, in 2005 the first Red Bull Air Race World Championship was held with ten pilots competing in seven races hosted in seven different countries.

2006 saw the Red Bull Air Race come to Australia for the first time with the deciding race for the year being held over the Swan River in Perth.
