Overview

Stylish yet simple, the cabins are designed to impart welcoming familiarity and warmth without the intrusion of telephones or television. As Freycinet Lodge is located within a pristine National Park, entry fees do apply. Passes are available from the visitor information centre at the entrance to the park or Freycinet Lodge reception with prices for a 24 hour vehicle pass starting at $24.00. At Freycinet Lodge, children 4 years and under at the date of arrival stay free of charge (maximum of 2 children per room) if utilising existing bedding and if accompanied by a paying adult.

Room Descriptions

Freycinet Cabin

Set amongst native trees is this stylish one room cabin with king bed. Watch the wildlife from your private deck and savour the peace and quiet of the National Park. Buffet Breakfast for two included, sofa bed for a third guest if required.

Oyster Bay Cabin

Families will relish the beauty of the National Park from these two room cabins complete with a king bed and two singles. The open plan living area includes the main bedroom, with access to the second room and bathroom. Buffet breakfast for two included.

Wineglass Deluxe Cabin

Perfect for couples, the Wineglass Deluxe Cabin is a one room spa cabin situated to enjoy the peace and quiet or as a base to explore the great outdoors and savour local produce. Buffet Breakfast for two included, sofa bed for a third guest if required.

Wineglass Premier Cabin

The Wineglass Premier Cabin is a spacious open plan cabin for the discerning traveller. Ideal for a romantic get away or to relax in luxury - King bed, two person spa, mini bar, TV/DVD and private deck to enjoy the view. Buffet breakfast for two included.

Travel Directions

Freycinet Lodge is located in the Freycinet National Park, approximately 2 kilometres from the park entrance. Two and a half hours' drive from Hobart or Launceston. From Launceston take the Midland Hwy (A1) to Campbell Town, turn left onto the Lake Leake Hwy (B34), then left again onto the Tasman Hwy (A3). A spectacular view of 'The Hazards' on Freycinet Peninsula can be seen from a lookout just north of this junction. About 15-20 minutes past the junction, turn right onto Coles Bay Road (C302). Travel through Coles Bay to reach the entrance to Freycinet National Park. From Hobart take the Tasman Hwy (A3) through Sorell, Triabunna and Swansea. Spectacular views of the Freycinet Peninsula can be seen all along the coast just south of Swansea and again from a lookout north of Swansea. About 15-20 minutes past the junction, turn right onto Coles Bay Road (C302). Travel through Coles Bay to reach the entrance to Freycinet National Park.
