Cedar Creek Lodges

4 Star Australian AAA Rated

Corner Cedar Creek Falls Road, Tamborine Mountain, Queensland, 4272

Overview

There's something magical about being lulled to sleep by a rainforest stream burbling past your window. In fact, that's just where the magic begins when you choose to stay at Cedar Creek Lodges. Hidden away on the slopes of magnificent Mount Tamborine in the Gold Coast Hinterland, they provide a tranquil retreat from the fast lanes of Brisbane and the Gold Coast ... yet are under an hour's drive from both.

The spacious architecturally designed cottages are dotted along the banks of the creek after which they are named.

All have queen size bedrooms, and with such quality inclusions as a large spa bath, wood fired fire place, microwave, TV, movie channel and BBQ's (upon request) you will experience the very best in luxurious contemporary accommodation. With cedar timber shutters, polished timber floors, high ceilings and a spectacular babbling rainforest creek setting, these self-contained Creek Lodges become the ideal holiday and honeymoon destination. There's a licensed Rainforest Restaurant serving 'modern Australian cuisine' on Friday and Saturday nights, and tasty snacks and meals during the day (every day).

Cedar Creek Lodges is the perfect base from which to enjoy the activities for which Tamborine Mountain has become famous. Add to this, horse trail rides, Adventure Parc, in-lodge massages, swimming in natural rock pools and under tumbling waterfalls and rainforest walks and you have found a natural paradise.

THUNDERBIRD PARK - Where Adventure joins Nature

Thunderbird Park is an amazing wildlife and geological rich oasis, stretching over 112 hectares on Tamborine Mountain. Translucent rock pools, inspiring landscapes, towering rainforests, star studded skies all add to the magic of Thunderbird Park. Activities include fossicking for your own treasures in the World's largest mine of thundereggs, Australia's first 'Adventure Parc' incorporating the largest ropes and adventure games' course in our country, riding horse trails through ancient rainforests and gum studded grounds, laser skirmish, mini golf and, for in-house guests, swimming in natural rock pools and the resort's salt water pool plus enjoyable bush walks.
