Overview

An accommodation village set out across five acres of our historic farm and sheep station (circa 1840) featuring breath-taking Ocean views across to Kangaroo Island and a mix of modern features with an authentic country atmosphere this is accommodation done a little differently.

Ranging from well facilitated camp grounds to romantic self-contained cottages, budget rooms, B&B rooms to even accommodation to cater for two families we have you covered for your next adventure on the Fleurieu and at very persuasive prices. We even have an onsite restaurant featuring home-grown wines and locally caught seafood. Bookings are essential.

The Station is only a short 3kms to the Sealink Ferry Terminal to Kangaroo Island as well as the popular Morgans Beach. Or you can take in the scenery and wildlife at Deep Creek Conservation Park, only a few kilometres away which features waterfalls, stunning beaches and the Heysen Trail. This is just the beginning of what you can enjoy on the magical Fleaurieu Peninsula.

As pet lovers ourselves, we are Pet Friendly and invite you to bring your dogs along too just let us know youve invited them when making the booking. We also have Emus, Ducks, Chickens, Guinea Pigs, Dogs, Sheep and huge flocks of native bird for everyone to interact with whilst they are here which makes it an extra special family experience.

Our beautiful old-stone renovated barn is also available for hire for functions up to 150 people imagine the bonus of having breath-taking views, beautiful natural surroundings and on site accommodation for the next event you hold

Railway Cottage

Two bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and three singles and a trundle bed in another, both have a rc/ac with an adjoining bathroom. Large lounge dining room with TV and full kitchen facitlities.

Ringers Room

Ringers is named after old Australian term, a ringer in the shearing shed was the fastest shearer and a ringer on a sheep or cattle station was one step above a jackaroo ( a first year station hand) The room is a motel style room with a queen bed, sofa bed, ensuite bathroom, microwave, toaster, kettle and TV. This is way above the standard of accommodation the traditional ringer would expect!!

Settlers Cottage

A two bedroom cottage with a queen bed in one room and three single beds in the other. It has a brand new kitchen, lounge room, renovated bathroom and laundry facilities. It has an RC/AC that will cool and heat throughout the house.

Check In Instructions

Check in is after 2 pm, however an earlier check in may be pre- arranged. If you would like an evening meal, the Pear Tree restaurant is open every night from 6 pm, bookings are appreciated.

Children and Extra Guests Details

Most of our tarriff prices are for two people. The extra charge prices are on our website, or you can give us a ring to discuss your needs.

Due to the extra cleaning times, anyone wishing bring a dog will be charged $10 to cover this.

Car Parking Details

There is car parking spots at all accommodation, although it is not undercover.

Travel Directions

We are 2km before you get to Cape Jervis on the left hand side of Main South Road. Cape Jervis is a small community with a Tavern, General Store and Petrol Station which provides you with the essentials but if you have special requirements it is advisable to bring them with you. Please be aware that if you expect to arrive after 730pm there will not be anything open in the township for meals so it is best to get something on the way.

Things To Do

Relax and take in some fresh air as you wander around the grounds, taking in the stunning ocean views and peaceful natural surrounds. We have a restaurant on site for breakfast daily and dinner Wednesday to Sunday and also a range of farm animals for you interact with. There's also a tennis court if you're feeling energetic. Nearby there are golf courses at Wirrina and Lady Links, plenty of truly amazing beaches and fishing spots as well as the ferry to Kangaroo Island just 3km away if you want to go over for a day trip. You can go for a drive and take in the natural beauty of the region, hike the tracks at Deep Creek and Talisker Conservation Parks or just find a good spot to relax with a picnic. Great shopping entertainment and sightseeing is only a short drive away to Victor Harbor. Even closer are Second Valley, Normanville and Yankalilla which feature cafes, restaurants, shopping, wineries, horse rides and artwork. In Cape Jervis, there is Morgans Beach which is great for swimming and surf fishing, a boat ramp and local tavern and general store for dine in or take away meals.
