Guests staying at Burnside are in for a treat. Four contemporary, thoughtfully designed bungalows are surrounded by Lara & Jamie's intensive organic farm. The luxurious one bedroom bungalows are just for couples. The two bedroom bungalows are suitable for couples, families and small groups. One has an outdoor spa bath. Fully self-contained the bungalows have everything you could need. Learn about growing food, self-sufficiency and permaculture. Walk the 1.7km "'Farm Walk", pick vegetables from the garden and feed the chickens, geese and pigs.

Breakfast baskets are available for $75. includes local wood fired organic flour bread, eggs, The Farm House bacon, butter, granola, local milk, seasonal fruit, herbs, Burnside honey and organic plunger coffee.

Enjoy the plentiful native bird and animal life. Wander through the trees and watch the kangaroos come out to feed as the sun goes down. Walk one of the many trails in adjoining National Park.

Central to all the famous attractions of the Margaret River region. Pristine white beaches, spectacular caves and world renowned wineries and restaurants are a short drive away. The town of Margaret River is less than 10 minutes away.

ACCOMMODATION - There are four contemporary bungalows,

set apart to ensure peace and privacy for all guests. Built from natural

materials. The bungalows are very clean. All are fully self-contained with

quality appliances and furnishings.

Some bungalows have spa baths. Beautiful views over the vineyard,

olive grove and National Park.

WHO SHOULD STAY - Food & wine lovers whom care for the

environment and enjoy nature. Couples, honeymooners, families and

small groups who wish to experience the real Margaret River and

avoid mainstream tourism.

Room Descriptions

1. Limestone Outdoor Spa Bungalow

This bungalow is a favourite with its outside spa bath. It has two bedrooms and sleeps 5 people. One bedroom has a QS bed. The other bedroom has a QS bed and a single bed. Modern open plan kitchen with full cooking facilities. The bathroom has a spacious shower. The living room has a wood potbelly for warmth in colder months.

2. Limestone Bungalow

2. Limestone Bungalow - 2 night minimum. Two bedroom bungalow.

3. Luxury Spa Bungalow - for couples

1 bedroom Luxury Spa bungalow just for couples. Private, spacious and luxurious. Fully self-contained, KS bed, large bathroom with separate shower and large 2 person spa bath with garden views, wood fire (winter only), lovely garden/rural views from every room. Only suitable for babies that are less than 1 year old. Sometimes we will alllow an extra young child on a mattress. Extra cost is $50 per night. Please contact us before booking.

Check In Instructions

Please drive down the driveway to the main house. Follow signs to "farm office" on the front verandah of the main house and ring the door bell. If we are out there will be a note and key for you.

Children and Extra Guests Details

Children welcome in the 2 bedroom bungalows. Children 2 years and over are charged at the standard extra person rate of $30/night.

The Rammed Earth Spa Bungalows are designed just for couples and are not suitable for babies over 12 months or crawling. We sometimes allow a child on a mattress for an extra fee. Please call if you have questions.

Car Parking Details

Park at your bungalow. The rammed earth bungalows have undercover parking.

Travel Directions

From Cowaramup travel 3km south along Bussell Highway turn right into Burnside Rd and then travel 2.5km down Burnside Rd. Ignore the post box numbers just look out for our easy to see signs. Turn left and come all the way down the drive to the main house.

Please come to the "Office".

If coming from Margaret River it is easier to take Carters Rd, it is left off Bussell Hwy, travel 5km down Carters and turn right into Burnside. We are 3 km from Carters Rd.

Things To Do

Pick vegetables and herbs for dinner from our large vegetable garden.

Follow the "farm walk" trail and see pigs, cows and crops.

Walk forest tracks, in pristine National Park, directly from Burnside.

Walk or ride on the "Wardandi"" all the way to town. Bikes for hire in town.

If you like mountain bike riding we can show you how to get to more challenging tracks and jumps.

Feed the chickens, geese and pigs.

Watch kangaroos.

Children can enjoy the big tyre swing.

Relax on the verandah and enjoy the view and bird life.

Try a glass of our organic wine grown and produced on site.
