Bundaberg, QLD situated on the banks of the Burnett River is approximately 400kms north of Brisbane. This great city is known as the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef where you can explore the stunning wonders of the World Heritage Site that is largest coral reef system in the world. Mon Repos is only about 20 minutes drive from the centre of Bundaberg and is home to nesting marine turtles, November to March each year is the best time to check out this great marvel of nature. For something else interesting to do on your visit the Bundaberg Rum distillery offers tours and a museum.
