When approaching from Hobart or Airport (south) along Bathurst Street, turn right at Fredrick Street and drive to the T-intersection (George Street) and turn left. Drive down the hill to York Street (second set of lights) and turn right. The Balmoral is just up the hill on the right-hand side (approx 100 metres).

When approaching from the north (East Tamar Highway), follow the traffic flow around the city square and when you are in George street, turn left at York Street. The Balmoral is just up the hill on the right-hand side (approx 100 metres).
