Grindelwald Shopping Arcade, located at the Tamar Valley Resort in Grindelwald, is open to the public every day of the week from 9am to 5pm. Here you will find arts and crafts, Chocolate Shop, Village Bakery, Newsagency, General Store and more. There is also an "Eletronic Games Arcade" (fees apply) with approximately 12 specialised games inluding Soft Toy Games, Racing Car Simulators, Cowboy Shoot Outs and much much more. This area is sure to provide many hours of enjoyment for the whole family. p

The indoor Centre has a heated pool spa, steam sauna, paddling pool and fully equipped gymnasium. p

Tamar Valley Resort has just installed Tasmania's Largest & most Exciting "JUMPING PILLOW" approx 15 metres x 20 metres in size. The Jumping Pillow is providing both guest's & visitor's many hours of enjoyment. So come down and dine in our Lakeside Restaurant with the children and have a go. br

Travel Directions

Aspect Tamar Valley Resort is perfectly positioned approximately 10 minutes drive North of the Launceston CBD in the heart of the exotic Tamar Valley wine region. p

If you are arriving from the Launceston Airport, follow the signs to the City of Launceston.

Do not take any turns just stay on the main highway into the City from the Airport.

When in the Launceston CBD take the (A7) West Tamar Highway by turning left at the York Street intersection.

Aspect Tamar Valley Resort is then approximately 10 minutes drive North of the Launceston CBD via the West Tamar (A7) Highway.

Just look for the signs to the suburb of "Grindelwald".

As you approach the 2nd round about which is approximately 10 minutes drive from the CBD, the Woolworths Legana shopping centre is located on your right.

Travel ahead through the round about for approx 1km, then turn left into Atkinson Road & travel 2 minutes up the hills to discover the resort on right hand side.

The resort is also ideally located approximately 50 minutes drive form the Devonport Ferry Terminal via the Frankford Highway (B71).
